MV Sync Privacy Policy

MV Sync — Inmovilla: Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026 · Publisher: MV Immobilier

This policy explains what the Chrome extension "MV Sync — Inmovilla" (the "Extension") does with data. The Extension has one purpose: it lets a real-estate agency publish property listings it already manages in the Inmovilla CRM to the agency's own website.

1. Data the Extension handles

Property listing content
Title, description, price, type, address, postal code, province, surface, bedrooms, bathrooms, features and photo URLs, read from crm.inmovilla.com.
Why: to publish the listings on the user's website.
Where it goes: only to the website endpoint the user enters.
Agent name
The name of the agent assigned to a listing.
Why: shown with the listing on the user's website.
Where it goes: only to the website endpoint the user enters.
Website endpoint URL and secret token
Why: to connect securely to the user's own website.
Where it goes: stored on the user's device (chrome.storage.local). The token is sent only to that endpoint.
Listing text with no French version
Why: automatic translation into French, which the user can turn off.
Where it goes: Google Translate (translate.googleapis.com).
Sync queue, progress and settings
Why: to carry on a sync across pages and restarts.
Where it goes: stored on the user's device only.

2. What the Extension does not do

  • It does not collect browsing history, keystrokes, clicks, location, financial or health data, or personal communications.
  • It runs only on crm.inmovilla.com and contacts only the user's own website endpoint and Google Translate.
  • It does not send data to MV Immobilier or to any analytics, advertising or tracking service.
  • It does not sell, rent or share user data with third parties, and does not use data for anything outside its single purpose. It does not use data for creditworthiness or lending.
  • It does not load or run remote code.

3. Third-party service

When automatic translation is on, text to be translated is sent to Google Translate, which processes it under Google's Privacy Policy. Turn off "Translate to French automatically" in the panel to stop this.

4. Storage, retention and deletion

Settings, the token and sync data stay on the user's device until the user unlinks or removes the Extension. Removing the Extension deletes all of its local data. Listings sent to the user's website are stored and controlled by that website's owner.

5. Security

All requests use HTTPS, and every request to the user's website carries the user's secret token.

6. Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
